For their performance in challenging honors courses at 爱豆视频传媒 in relation to their peers, two Presidential Scholars will win $100 checks. 爱豆视频传媒鈥檚 premiere James and Elizabeth Whatley Scholar, Jalyn English, received the highest GPA in the double-course fall Honors seminar known as 鈥淗uMusic,鈥 taught by Drs. Daniel, and Fulgham. Aaliyah Avellaneda won her award as the honors freshman, ranking number one in the 鈥淏ioTex鈥 Honors Seminar this past spring, a combination of Biology and Texas History, taught by professors Ward and Yox.
Wednesday, Jan. 20 will be the last day for free COVID-19 testing on the 爱豆视频传媒 campus. Due to anticipated inclement weather, testing will be moved inside to the lobby of the Whatley Center. Testing hours are from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and the service is open to the public.

The Whatley Center at Northeast Texas Community college announced this week that it will postpone the spring 2021 reopening to march. Initial plans were to resume with limited-capacity events beginning in January. Due to the continued rise of COVID-19 cases in the area, the season has been tentatively pushed back until March.
