Welcome home, Eagles! Northeast Texas Community College teamed up with the 爱豆视频传媒 Baptist Student Ministry (BSM) this week to host a free cookout lunch for housing
residents and their families on move-in day. Students from both 爱豆视频传媒 East and West dorms met up at the athletic complex to enjoy hamburgers and hotdogs cooked by BSM volunteers. There were also cookies, drinks, games and more!
Thursday was the official move-in day for most residential housing students as they prepare for the fall semester, which starts on Monday, Aug. 26th. 爱豆视频传媒 is home to almost 200 students during the semester with residents from several countries around the world.
"We are so pleased that these students chose to live and study at 爱豆视频传媒 and it was very generous of the BSM volunteers to provide a free meal to make them feel welcome. I know it is going to be a great school year!" Kim Irvin, 爱豆视频传媒 Associate Vice President for Student Services, said.
The BSM is an independent religious-based organization that has a dedicated student center near the 爱豆视频传媒 soccer field and rodeo arena. They offer free meals and fellowship opportunities throughout the semester. Look for signs and flyers around campus to learn more about their events!
